Bhawna Singh is Chief Technology Officer at Lightspeed Commerce, where she leads the company’s global Engineering and Security organizations. She leads the strategy and execution for agentic AI across customer products and enterprise transformation, shaping how intelligent agents can create meaningful customer and business value while addressing the security, trust, and governance challenges that emerge as AI systems become increasingly autonomous. Previously, Bhawna served as CTO at Okta, where she led technology for the Customer Identity business supporting billions of secure authentications each month. Her work spanned both sides of the agentic shift: building capabilities to secure AI agents and applying agentic systems to transform how software was developed. She also worked closely with global enterprise customers on identity, security, and digital transformation. Earlier, as CTO of Glassdoor, she led the global Engineering, Data, and AI organization, using data and machine learning to drive product innovation and customer experiences at scale. With more than 25 years of experience spanning AI, cybersecurity and identity, enterprise software, and consumer technology, Bhawna’s work sits at the intersection of product innovation, emerging technology, and digital trust. She also advises early-stage cybersecurity and AI companies, bringing experience across both scaled enterprises and emerging technology companies.
