Event Overview

Join us at the MIT AI Conference for a dynamic hackathon focused on developing groundbreaking solutions in Generative Voice AI. Hosted by Richard Rabbat (Co-founder and CEO) and Anthony Johnson (Co-founder and CTO) from Lighty AI, this two-phase event will tackle challenges in enhancing customer service through ultra-realistic voice technologies.

Event Details

Phase 1: On-campus Hackathon‍

• Dates: October 18-20, 2024
• Location: MIT campus (exact location shared upon registration)
• Schedule:
  • Friday, October 18: Kickoff at 5 PM (dinner provided)
  • Saturday, October 19: Collaboration and coaching from 11 AM (lunch and dinner provided)
  • Sunday, October 20: Remote work with virtual support

Submission

Video pitch due by 11:59 PM ET on Sunday, October 20. Finalists announced by end of day Monday, October 21.

Phase 2: Pitch Competition at MIT AI Conference in NYC

Finalists present at the MIT AI Conference in NYC on October 26.

Note: Pitch coaching will be provided on Wednesday, October 23 from 5-7 PM on campus.

‍Prizes‍

• Winner: $25,000 of API credit from OpenAI + $1000 per team
• Runner-up: $10,000 of API credit from OpenAI + $500 per team
• Third Place: $5,000 of API credit from OpenAI + $100 per team
• All finalists receive a certificate of participation

Transportation

Free bus transport to and from NYC for finalists on Octoberober 25-26, supported by the E14 Fund.
