Steve Wilson

Steve Wilson, an AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing pioneer, leads OWASP's open-source initiative on Large Language Model AI security. With a rich history at technology giants like Citrix, Oracle, and Sun Microsystems, he co-developed Java, a globally adopted software toolset. Currently authoring "The Developer's Playbook for Large Language Model Security" (O'Reilly Media, 2024) and having authored "Java Platform Performance: Strategies and Tactics" (Addison-Wesley), he boasts eleven US and international patents in security, networking, and IoT. Steve holds a Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego and a second-degree black belt from the American Taekwondo Association.
