John Whaley

John Whaley is Founder of Inception Studio, and was previously Founder/CEO of UnifyID and Founder/CTO of Moka5. He is an expert in computer security and has spoken at numerous conferences and industry events, including RSA Conference four times. He holds a doctorate in computer science from Stanford University, where he made key contributions to the fields of program analysis, compilers, and virtual machines. He is the winner of numerous awards including the Arthur L. Samuel Thesis Award for Best Thesis at Stanford, and has worked at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Center and Tokyo Research Lab. He also holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from MIT.
