Dr. Ashwin Rao

Ashwin Rao is the Founder-CTO of an AI startup (CX Score) and is an Adjunct Professor in Applied Math at Stanford University, focusing his research and teaching in the area of Stochastic Control, particularly Reinforcement Learning algorithms with applications in Finance and Retail. Previously, Ashwin was VP of AI at Target, was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, and a Trading Strategist at Goldman Sachs. Ashwin is a CS major from IIT-Bombay and has a Ph.D in Theoretical CS from USC.
